I am a lecturer in counselling at the University of Chester and like to combine my role as an educator with that of a counsellor when supervising. I am a qualified supervisor and use the Hawkins and Shohet methodology.
Supervision should always feel fresh and be a learning, developmental experience.
I enjoy working with supervisees to examine their relationships with their clients, to enhance their knowledge and skills and help them self-reflect. I use expressive methods in supervision to explore aspects of the work that is on the edge of awareness. I see supervision as a dialogue, where we co construct the learning.
Costs for clinical supervision:
£60.00 for 1.5 hours for qualified waged counsellors.
£50.00 for 1.5 hours for unwaged counsellors.
